1.00 kg figs
white wine — fruity
200.00 ml honey — runny

Method:

Place figs in a saucepan with just enough wine to cover.
Bring to boil, gently stir in honey, reduce heat and simmer until tender but not mushy.
Remove figs with a slotted spoon and boil juice, uncovered, over high heat to reduce and thicken.
Taste, and add a little more honey if not sweet enough for your taste. Pour over figs.
Serve chilled with whipped cream or mascarpone cheese.
