Farfalle with smoked chicken & mushrooms

Ingredients (12)

2 chicken breast fillets — large, smoked
250 g mushrooms — sliced
2 cloves garlic — cloves, thinly sliced
250 ml cream
250 ml milk — mixed with 1 Tbs cornflour
1/2 tsp paprika
pinch nutmeg — ground
1 tsp mustard — powder
2 Tbs lemon juice
salt and freshly ground black pepper
500 g pasta — farfalle, cooked
fresh parsley — to serve

Method:

In a large saucepan, fry the chicken, mushrooms and garlic in some oil until the mushrooms are cooked.

Pour in the cream, milk and flavourings and allow to thicken.

Toss in the cooked pasta and serve with a scattering of parsley and some grated pecorino if you wish.
