Ingredients (9)

25.00 ml oil
400.00 g beef — stewing, cubed
3.00 onion — medium, sliced
3.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
1.00 Litres stock — beef or chicken
4.00 fresh chillies — sliced
120.00 g tomato paste
5.00 ml salt
60.00 ml paprika

Method:

Heat the oil in a large saucepan.
Brown the meat over a high heat, then add the onions and garlic and continue to cook until onions are soft.
Add the remaining ingredients, bring to the boil, then reduce to simmer.
Simmer gently for 30 to 45 minutes until meat is tender.
Serve with rolls or crusty bread.
