Espetada (kebabs on bay skewers)

    beef rump or sirloin
  • 6
    dried bay leaves
  • 60
    coarse salt
  • 10
    cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 6
    skewers made from thick bay tree twigs


10 minutes
1. Cut the meat into large (3 cm) cubes.
2. Crush the bay leaves and mix with the salt and garlic. Rub this mixture into the meat and thread on to the skewers.
3. Grill the kebabs and serve with a tomato salad.
