    butter
  • 250
    ml
    sugar
  • 80
    ml
    honey
  • 750
    ml
    cake flour
  • 2
    ml
    salt
  • 3
    ml
    baking powder
  • 150
    g
    Sparkles sweets (boiled sweets)
 

Method

 
Cream together the butter, sugar and honey.
Sift together the cake flour, salt and baking powder and add to the butter mixture.
Knead to form a soft dough.
Sort the sweets according to colour.
Crush each colour separately.
Roll out dough to a thickness of 3 mm and cut out shapes.
Using a small cutter, cut out the middle of each cookie.
Arrange on lined baking sheets.
Make a small hole in the top of each cookie and bake at 170 °C for five to eight minutes.
Fill the middles with the crushed sweets (one colour per cookie).
Bake for another five to eight minutes or until the sweets have melted.
Cool and remove carefully.
Thread string or ribbon through the holes and hang on the Christmas tree.
