Easy salmon steaks with a herb crust

  • 2 x 140
    g
    salmon steaks
  • 2
    Tbs
    cream cheese
  • 1/2
    small clove of garlic
  • 1/4
    lemon grated, rind only
  • 60
    ml
    fresh breadcrumbs
  • 30
    ml
    coarsely grated parmesan
  • 1
    tsp
    chopped fresh parsley + extra for garnish
  • 1
    tsp
    chopped garlic chives + extra for garnish
  • paprika
  • seasoning of your choice
 

Method

20 mins
 
Season the fish.
Mash cream cheese with garlic and lemon rind.
Spread on top of the fish.
Mix breadcrumbs, parmesan and parsley.
Sprinkle on top of the cream cheese.
Dust with paprika.
Bake uncovered for 15 minutes @ 200 degrees.
 
Delicious served with a crisp salad & new potatoes or even as a starter with some brown bread and butter.
Serves 2
