Easy microwaved fudge

    glacé cherries, finely chopped

Method

 
Grease a 24 x 24 cm dish with butter. Mix the condensed milk, castor sugar and butter in a deep, microwaveproof dish. Microwave for 2 minutes on 100 per cent power. Stir well and return to the microwave oven. Microwave for another 10 minutes on 100 per cent power. Watch the mixture carefully as it boils over easily. Stir occasionally. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into the prepared dish and cool. Chill until set. Cut into squares before the fudge becomes too hard. Tested in a 650 Watt oven.
