Delectable cream cheese and salmon

    pizza bases (see recipe for basic pizza dough)
  • 20

    basil pesto
  • 150
    ml
    tomato and garlic paste (see recipe)
  • 100
    g
    onions, thinly sliced
  • 125
    g
    mozzarella cheese, cubed
  • 150
    g
    crème fraîche or smooth cottage cheese
  • 100
    g
    smoked salmon, thinly sliced
  • freshly ground black pepper
 

Method

15-20 minutes
 
1. Spread prepared pizza bases with basil pesto and tomato and garlic paste. 2. Top with onion rings and mozzarella cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ºC for 15 to 20 minutes. 3. Remove from the oven and spread crème fraîche over the pizza. Arrange salmon slices on top. Season with black pepper and serve. Makes two 32 cm pizzas.
