Decadent baked figs

  • figs
  • feta cheese
  • chopped nuts
  • Parma ham
 

Method

Preheat oven to 180ºC.

Make a cross incision at the top of six figs and lightly squeeze the sides to open the fruit up slightly.
Fill each with a mix of feta cheese and chopped nuts.

Carefully wrap each fig in a slice of Parma ham, place on a baking tray and bake for 20 minutes until warmed through, but not soggy.

Serve this with your main roast dish or sprinkle sweet basil or rocket leaves over them as a garnish for a flavourful side dish.
