  • 500
    pork sausages, casings removed
  • 30
    fruit chutney
  • 400
    frozen puff pastry, defrosted

10-15 min
Preheat the oven to 220 ºC (425 ºF). Spray a baking tray with non-stick spray. Sauté the onion in oil till soft. Add the curry powder and stir-fry for about 1 minute. Add the pork sausage meat and fry till light brown and cooked. Using a fork, mash the meat to remove any lumps. Add the fruit chutney and stir-fry till the mixture is heated through. Roll out the pastry on a floured surface till 5-7 mm thick. Cut out fairly large squares and spoon a little of the meat mixture into the centre of each square. Fold the four corners together and secure with a clove. Lightly press the edges of the pastry together and brush the parcels with milk. Place the parcels on the prepared baking tray and bake for about 15 minutes or till the pastry is cooked and golden brown. Serve immediately. Chutney and bananas go well with the parcels. Makes 6-8 parcels, depending on the size.
