Ingredients (11)

1.00 onion — peeled, sliced
5.00 ml oil
1.00 Granny Smith apples — peeled, cubed
3.00 tomatoes — peeled and chopped
75.00 ml chutney — fruit
20.00 ml curry powder — medium
125.00 ml raisins — seedless
25.00 ml vinegar
500.00 ml water
salt and freshly ground black pepper
540.00 g beans — cooked

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF).
Sauté the onion in the oil until soft.
Add the remaining ingredients, but not the cooked beans. Season to taste with salt and pepper, reduce the heat and simmer until a fairly thick sauce has formed.
Spoon layers of dried beans and sauce into a casserole dish, cover and bake for about 30 minutes until the dish is heated through.
