Ingredients (12)

750.00 ml rice
500.00 g chicken — wings
5.00 ml ginger — ground
10.00 ml coriander — ground
2.00 ml freshly ground black pepper
10.00 ml masala
oil — for frying
375.00 ml onion — finely chopped
2.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
250.00 ml stock — chicken
820.00 g butter beans — tinned and drained
salt — to taste

Method:

Prepare the rice according to the instructions on the pack. Set aside, keeping warm.
Wash the chicken wings and pat dry. Combine all the seasonings and rub the mixture into the chicken wings. Brown the wings in heated oil. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Sauté the onion and garlic in the pan till soft. Add the chicken stock and chicken wings. Reduce the heat and simmer till the chicken is done and tender.
Add the beans 10 minutes before the end of the cooking time. Add salt to taste if necessary.
Serve with the rice.
Serves 6.
