Curried cabbage

  • 1
    quantity basic curry sauce
  • 7
    medium-sized onions, peeled and sliced into rings
  • 1
    head cabbage
  • 250
    ml
    sultanas
 

Method

 
Prepare the basic curry sauce as described. Place the onions and cabbage in a saucepan and cover with water. Boil until tender but still crisp and drain. Add to the boiling curry sauce and bring to the boil once more. Spoon into sterilised jars while still hot and seal immediately. Makes about 3 litres salad.
