Cream the butter and sugar. Beat the egg yolks
and add to the butter and sugar mixture.
Add 1 cup of the milk at a time and
beat well. Add the flour, baking powder and salt and blend well.
In a separate
bowl, whisk the egg whites to a light froth and fold into the mixture. Pour the
mixture into a well-greased ovenproof pie dish and bake for 30 minutes or until the tart is set.
