Crumbed bully beef

  • 600
    g
    bully beef
  • 250
    ml
    dried breadcrumbs
  • 5
    ml
    paprika
  • 5
    ml
    dried mustard
  • 10
    ml
    fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 3
    extra-large eggs, whisked
  • oil for shallow-frying
 

Method

 
Slice the bully beef into fingers. Mix the breadcrumbs with the paprika, mustard powder and parsley and season to taste. Dip the bully beef slices in the egg and then in the crumb mixture. Chill for 1 hour to set the crumb mixture. Heat the oil in a large pan and fry the slices until golden brown. Serve hot with mashed potato and stir-fried vegetables or a salad. Serves 4.
