Creamy spinach and mushroom

    butter
  • 1
    bunch spinach, finely chopped
  • 250
    g
    mushrooms
  • 1
    onion, finely chopped
  • 250
    ml
    fresh cream
  • salt and pepper to taste
 

Method

 
Melt butter and fry onion, spinach and mushroom (covered) over gentle heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add cream, salt and pepper. Simmer for 2 minutes. Serve warm with meat, fish or chicken.
