Creamy seafood

    oil

    clove garlic, crushed
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 1
    green pepper, diced
  • 10

    mild curry powder
  • 5

    turmeric

    fresh button mushrooms, sliced
  • lemon pepper and salt
  • 200
    ml
    fresh cream
  • 45
    ml
    flour
  • 500
    g
    mixed seafood or hake, cubed
 

Method

 
Heat the oil and sauté; the garlic, onion and pepper until tender and fragrant. Add the curry powder and turmeric and stir-fry for another minute. Add the mushroom slices and season with lemon pepper. Pour over the cream or yoghurt mixed with 45 ml (3 T) flour, season with salt and bring to the boil while stirring. Simmer slowly for about five minutes, adjust the flavour if necessary and add the seafood mixture. Simmer for a few minutes until the seafood is done. Serve with seasoned rice and a salad.
