Creamy oats with honey and whiskey

  • 750
    ml
    milk
  • 250
    ml
    oats
  • 75
    ml
    white sugar, or to taste
  • pinch salt
  • 90
    ml
    each thick cream, whisky and honey
 

Method

 
Warm milk in a small saucepan. Stir in oats, sugar and salt. Simmer over low heat, stirring, until thickened. Add cream and whisky and stir over low heat for a few seconds. Spoon into heated bowls and drizzle a little honey over.
