Creamy ham and mushrooms

Ingredients (6)

2 spring onions — or half an onion, chopped
2 garlic — cloves, crushed
250 g mushrooms — mixed, quartered
4-6 gypsy ham — chopped
1 sour cream — or crème fraîche
freshly ground black pepper — to taste

Method:

Sauté the onion, garlic and mushrooms until softened and browned. Add
the ham and sour cream, turn the heat down and simmer for +- 5 minutes,
allowing the sauce to reduce slightly. Season with salt and pepper.
Take care not to over salt, as Gypsy ham is salty already.
Here are 3 serving suggestions:

Pancakes
Fill pancakes and roll, top with rocket.

Pasta:
Add the cooked pasta to the saucepan and toss until well combined.
Finish off with some parmesan shavings and rocket.

Rice:
Serve with rice of your choice.
