Ingredients (10)

30.00 ml oil
500.00 g chicken breast fillets — cubed
1.00 onion — sliced
225.00 g button mushrooms — halved
1.00 red pepper — sliced
1.00 instant sauce — creamy chicken
400.00 ml milk
10.00 ml fresh tarragon — chopped
400.00 g phyllo pastry
45.00 ml butter — melted

Method:

Heat the oil in a large saucepan.
Add the chicken, onion, mushrooms and red pepper and sauté; for 3 minutes. Remove from the heat.
Make up the instant mix according to pack instructions. Add to the chicken mixture and stir in the tarragon (use 3 ml dried, if you don’t have fresh). Mix to combine. Spoon mixture into a greased ovenproof dish.
Brush the pastry sheets with melted butter. Scrunch the phyllo sheets and place on top of the chicken mixture.
Bake in a preheated 180 °C oven for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
