Creamed mushrooms

Ingredients

    rashers bacon, chopped
  • 50
    ml
    butter
  • 250
    g
    fresh brown mushrooms, sliced
  • 250
    g
    fresh button mushrooms, sliced
  • 150
    ml
    cream or sour cream
  • 15
    ml
    grainy mustard
  • few drops Tabasco sauce
  • salt and black pepper to taste
 

Method

5-10 min
 
Fry the bacon in a little butter till done. Remove from the pan and stir-fry the mushrooms in the remaining butter till golden brown. Add the cream and the mustard and simmer till the cream thickens slightly. Season with the Tabasco sauce, and salt and black pepper. Serve on toast. Serves 3-4.
