Preheat oven to 180°C, grease oven tray.
Sieve flour, salt and baking powder.
Rub in butter and add sugar.
Beat the eggs and Cream together.
Make a well in the centre of the flour mixture and add liquid.
Mix well with a knife and then knead very lightly.
Pat out to a thickness of 2 cm and cut into rounds.
Place on a baking tray and bake for 7 - 10 mintues. (For golden brown scones, brush lightly with milk before baking.
Serve scones with jam and extra Nestlé Dessert Cream for tea.
For tasty cheese scones - simply leave out the sugar and add 125 ml grated Cheddar cheese to basic mixture.
If you like raisin scones - just add 125 ml seedless raisins to basic mixture.
