Ingredients (7)

125.00 ml butter — room temperature
1.00 garlic — cloves, crushed with salt
60.00 ml pistachio nuts — toasted, chopped
sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
60.00 ml fresh chives — finely chopped
1.00 bread — French loaf
250.00 g cream cheese — or creamed cottage cheese

Method:

Beat the cream cheese, butter, garlic, nuts, salt and freshly ground black pepper together until well blended and smooth. Stir in the chopped chives. Transfer to small serving bowls and cover with cling film. Chill, preferably overnight. Just before serving, garnish with extra chives. Serve with toasted French bread. Makes about 500 ml (2 c) spread.
