Ingredients (9)

300.00 ml milk
60.00 ml sugar
40.00 ml butter
1.00 cinnamon — stick
2.00 star anise
0.00 orange — zest only
300.00 ml couscous
50.00 g mixed nuts
125.00 g dates — chopped

Method:

Bring the milk, sugar, butter, spices and orange rind to the boil.
Pour the milk mixture over the couscous, cover and leave to stand until the couscous is plump.
Stir in the nuts and dates.
Serve with thin custard or cream.
