    butter beans, drained

    kidney beans, drained

    cloves garlic, crushed
  • handful chopped Italian parsley
  • 1
    small lemon, thinly sliced peel, optional
  • 1
    small lemon, juice
  • 125
    ml
    olive oil (more or less)
  • salt and milled pepper
 

Method

 
Mix all the ingredients together and allow flavours to develop for a minimum of 30 minutes. Serve at room temperature for maximum flavour. Great for braais. Serves 4.
