Coconut or peanut cake

Ingredients

  • 250
    ml
    sugar
  • 300
    g
    peanuts or dessicated coconut
  • 30
    ml
    glucose syrup
  • 60
    ml
    water
 

Method

 
Caramelise the sugar with the glucose. Add the peanuts or coconut, stir to blend. Rub a table top or chopping board with butter and pour mixture onto it. Roll out with rolling pin and cut into fancy shapes. Leave to dry and serve as dessert.
