  • 1
    large slice brown bread, preferably cut from an oval loaf
  • lettuce leaves, tomato slices,
  • onion rings
  • a little bacon, cooked chicken and pieces of ham
  • a little mayonnaise
  • generous scoop crumbly cottage cheese
  • a few slices hard-boiled egg and gherkins
  • grated Cheddar cheese


Place the slice of bread on a plate and arrange the lettuce leaves, tomato slices and onion rings on top.) Stir-fry the bacon in a pan until done, and stir in the chicken and ham. Moisten with a little mayonnaise and spoon on top of the slice of bread. Top with the cottage cheese and finish with a few slices hard-boiled egg, gherkins and grated Cheddar cheese.
