Cinnamon pilaff rice

    basmati rice
  • 50
    g
    butter
  • 25
    ml
    currants
  • 25
    ml
    sultanas
  • 4
    dried apricot halves, diced
  • 25
    ml
    toasted almond slivers or pine kernels
  • 5
    ml
    ground cinnamon
  • salt and milled pepper to taste
 

Method

 
Boil rice in 1 litre (4 cups) salted water until just tender, 7 to 10 minutes. Drain. Add rest of ingredients, toss and serve.
