Christmas pudding with sugar-crusted plumbs

  • 12
    whole red plums
  • 30
    ml
    sugar
  • Christmas pudding to serve
 

Method

 
Preheat oven to 180 ºC. Cut a cross in top (rounded end) of each plum. Place plums in a baking dish and sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 20 minutes, or until plums are soft and juices are crimson and sticky. Serve with Christmas pudding, flamed with Van der Hum liqueur.
