Chocolate walnut brownies

    dark chocolate

    sugar

    extra-large eggs, lightly beaten

    vanilla essence

    cake flour

    ml
    salt
  • 100
    g
    chopped walnuts
 

Method

 
Gently heat butter and chocolate until melted. Remove from heat, stir in sugar, eggs and vanilla essence and beat lightly with a wooden spoon. Stir in flour, salt and walnuts and tip into the buttered and floured 20 cm square baking pan. Bake at 160 ºC for 40 minutes. Cool in pan then cut into squares. TOTAL KILOJOULE COUNT: 11 380 kJ (2 720 Cal). A portion: 710 kJ (170 Cal).
