Ingredients (12)

250.00 ml flour — cake
65.00 ml cocoa powder
250.00 ml sugar
10.00 ml Baking powder
1.00 ml salt
125.00 ml oil
125.00 ml water — boiled
4.00 eggs — seperated
5.00 ml vanilla — essence
410.00 g evaporated milk
125.00 ml sugar
200.00 g chocolate — wholenut, chopped

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF). Spray a 26 cm oven dish with non-stick spray. Mix the cake flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder and salt together. Add the oil, water, egg yolks and vanilla essence and mix well. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into the mixture. Pour into the prepared oven dish and bake for 45 minutes or until done. Meanwhile heat 3/4 of the evaporated milk with the sugar until the sugar has dissolved. Pour over the tart as soon as it comes out of the oven. Stand for a few minutes. Melt the chocolate with leftover evaporated milk. Pour over tart. Serve hot or cold with ice cream.
Makes a large tart.
