Ingredients (9)

CRUST
100.00 g butter
50.00 g castor sugar
15.00 ml cocoa powder
1.00 eggs — beaten
200.00 g digestive biscuits — crushed
TOPPING
140.00 g icing sugar
15.00 ml custard powder
25.00 g butter
15.00 ml water — hot

Method:

Slowly melt the butter, castor sugar and cocoa, stirring continuously. Add the egg and mix well. Heat for 1 minute while stirring continuously.
Stir in the crushed digestive biscuits and press the crust into a flat, greased 22 x 20 cm dish.
Cream all the ingredients together for the topping and spread over the crust. Chill until firm before cutting into squares.
