    butter

    castor sugar

    cocoa
  • 1
    egg, beaten
  • 200
    g
    digestive biscuits, crushed
  • TOPPING

    icing sugar
  • 15
    ml
    custard powder
  • 25
    g
    butter
  • 15
    ml
    hot water
 

Method

 
Slowly melt the butter, castor sugar and cocoa, stirring continuously. Add the egg and mix well. Heat for 1 minute while stirring continuously. Stir in the crushed digestive biscuits and press the crust into a flat, greased 22 x 20 cm dish. Cream all the ingredients together for the topping and spread over the crust. Chill until firm before cutting into squares.
