    light brown sugar

    granulated sugar

    large egg

    vanilla essence

    cake flour

    bicarbonate of soda
  • pinch of salt

    dark chocolate, cut into small chunks

    milk chocolate, cut into small chunks

    rolled oats

    coconut

    coarsely chopped pecan nuts
 

Method

 
1. Preheat the oven to 190 ºC. Cream the butter with the brown and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla essence. Stir in the flour, bicarbonate of soda and salt. Stir in the chocolate, oats, coconut and pecan nuts. 2. Spoon rounded tablespoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet. Place 5 cm apart to allow space for spreading and bake in preheated oven for about 12 minutes.
