Chocolate peanut and raisin bars

    brown sugar

    dark chocolate

    large eggs
  • 30
    ml
    smooth peanut butter
  • 100
    ml
    peanuts, chopped
  • 50
    ml
    raisins
  • icing sugar, for dusting
 

Method

 
Place butter, sugar and chocolate in a saucepan and heat over a medium heat until chocolate has melted. Mix together the eggs and peanut butter until smooth. Stir in the peanuts and raisins and mix into the chocolate mixture. Pour into a greased and lined 20 cm square tin and bake in preheated 190 ºC oven for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool. Turn out onto a wire rack and sprinkle with icing sugar. Cut into bars.
