Ingredients (5)

250.00 g butter
30.00 ml cocoa powder
125.00 ml icing sugar
125.00 ml peanuts — roughly chopped
500.00 ml flour — self-raising

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF). Spray a baking sheet with non-stick spray or line with baking paper.
Beat the butter, cocoa and icing sugar together. Mix in the peanuts. Add small quantities of the self-raising flour and mix well to form a manageable dough. Add more self-raising flour if necessary.
Roll the dough into small balls. Arrange on the prepared baking sheet. Flatten slightly with a fork and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until done. Cool slightly on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool. Store in an airtight container.
Makes 40 cookies.
