Chocolate mousse

    gelatine
  • 140
    g
    dark chocolate
  • 1
    extra-large egg
  • 1
    egg yolk
  • 15
    ml
    sugar
  • 15
    ml
    brandy
  • 200
    ml
    cream, stiffly whipped
 

Method

 
Dissolve the gelatine in a little cold water. Melt the chocolate in the microwave on 50 percent power. Beat the egg, egg yolk and sugar until thick and pale yellow. Melt the gelatine in the microwave oven. Add the egg mixture and blend. Add the chocolate and brandy. Blend well. Fold in the cream. Chill for about 2 hours. Serves 6.
