Chocolate marshmallow fudge

  • 200
    g
    marshmallows
  • 125
    g
    unsalted butter, diced
  • 50
    ml
    cream
  • 400
    g
    milk chocolate, chopped
  • 250
    ml
    almond splinters, toasted
 

Method

 
Grease a 19 cm square cake tin and line the bottom and sides with aluminium foil. (Also grease the foil.)
Slowly heat the marshmallows, butter and cream in a saucepan until the marshmallows have melted.
Remove from the heat, add the chocolate and stir until melted.
Stir in the nuts and spoon the mixture into the prepared cake tin.
Leave to cool before covering and chilling until firm.
Cut into squares.
