Chocolate mallow fudge

    castor sugar
  • 120
    ml
    Nestlé Ideal Evaporated Milk
  • 60
    g
    butter
  • 115
    g
    marshmallows, chopped
  • 125
    g
    shelled walnuts, chopped
  • 175
    g
    plain chocolate chips
  • 50
    g
    bittersweet chocolate, chopped
 

Method

 
1. Lightly grease a 20 cm square baking dish. 2. Mix the sugar, evaporated milk and butter together in a 2 litre microwave glass bowl. Cook on HIGH for 7 to 8 minutes, until soft ball stage is reached. 3. Add marshmallows, walnuts, plain chocolate chips and chopped bittersweet chocolate to the mixture. Stir until the marshmallows and chocolate have melted. Spread fudge into prepared baking dish; smooth surface. 4. Allow the fudge to cool completely in dish until firm; cut into 36 pieces. Store cooled fudge in an airtight container.
