    honey

    walnuts, chopped

    chocolate chips
 

Method

 
Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF). Spray a 27 x 11 x 7 cm loaf tin with non-stick spray. Sift the dry ingredients together and rub in the butter with your fingertips. Add the brown sugar and mix well. Beat the eggs, milk and honey together and add to the dry ingredients. Mix lightly and add the nuts and chocolate chips. Mix and turn the batter into the prepared loaf tin. Bake for 1 hour or till a testing skewer comes out clean when inserted into the centre of the loaf. Cool slightly and turn out onto a wire rack. Serve sliced. Makes a medium-sized loaf cake.
