Chocolate crunchies

    g
    milk chocolate, broken into squares
  • 125
    g
    butter, melted
  • 150
    g
    sultanas
  • 120
    g
    puffed rice cereal
  • 80
    g
    coconut
  • 130
    g
    icing sugar
  • 15
    ml
    cocoa
  • 25
    ml
    strong, hot black Nescafé coffee
  • 30
    ml
    Van der Hum liqueur
  • extra coconut
 

Method

 
Carefully melt the chocolate over boiling water or in the microwave oven. Add the remaining ingredients, except the extra coconut, and mix well. Roll into walnut-sized balls and then roll in coconut. Place on a sheet of wax paper and chill until the crunchies have set. Makes about 50 balls.
