    bicarbonate of soda

    cinnamon

    butter or margarine
  • 375
    ml
    sugar
  • 15
    ml
    milk
  • 7
    ml
    vanilla essence
  • 2
    extra-large eggs, whisked
  • 750
    ml
    oats
  • 350
    ml
    coconut
  • 375
    ml
    chocolate chips
 

Method

10 minutes per batch
 
Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
Line a few baking sheets with baking paper.
Sift together the dry ingredients.
Cream together the butter or margarine and sugar.Add the dry ingredients and mix.
Mix in the oats, coconut and chocolate chips.
Drop half-teaspoons of the mixture on the prepared baking sheets, leaving enough room between them for spreading.
Bake for about seven to 10 minutes or until done.
Leave the cookies to cool on the baking sheets before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Store in an airtight container.
