Ingredients (9)

125.00 g butter
60.00 g white sugar
60.00 g brown sugar
1.00 eggs — extra-large, beaten
2.00 ml cinnamon — ground
1.00 ml cloves — ground
2.00 ml Bicarbonate of soda
145.00 g flour — cake
50.00 g chocolate — chips

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF). Grease a baking sheet with margarine. Cream the butter and sugar together. Add the egg and mix. Sift the dry ingredients together and fold into the mixture, alternating with the chocolate chips. Drop teaspoonfuls on a greased baking sheet, leaving sufficient room between the biscuits for them to spread. Bake for about 10 minutes or until golden. Cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack. Store in an airtight container.
Makes 50 cookies.
