190.00 ml milk
60.00 g nestlé easymelt chocolate — dark, grated
125.00 ml brown sugar — soft
2.00 eggs — extra large, whisked
40.00 g butter — melted
5.00 ml cinnamon — ground
525.00 ml flour — cake
15.00 ml Baking powder
250.00 ml icing sugar
SAUCE
125.00 ml water
100.00 ml evaporated milk
45.00 ml golden syrup
60.00 g butter
20.00 ml cornflour
1.00 orange — zest only

Method:

Preheat the oven to 160 ºC (325 ºF). Spray a deep 25 cm ovenproof dish with non-stick spray or grease well.
Heat the milk and melt the chocolate by stirring small pieces at a time into the heated milk. Stir in the sugar. Whisk together the eggs, melted butter and cinnamon and add the milk mixture to the egg mixture, beating well.
Sift together the cake flour, baking powder and icing sugar in a mixing bowl. Fold small quantities of the flour mixture into the milk mixture until well blended.
Turn the batter into the prepared dish and bake for about 45 to 50 minutes or until a testing skewer comes out clean when inserted into the centre of the pudding.
Heat all the sauce ingredients, stirring continually until smooth and cooked. Pierce holes in the pudding and slowly, pour over the sauce so that it draws into the pudding.
Serve with custard.
