    Nestlé condensed milk

Method

Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF). Grease a 24 x 34-cm tray with margarine. Sift the dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Rub in the butter with your fingertips till well blended. Add the castor sugar and egg yolks and mix, adding just enough water to form a stiff dough. Press the crust into the baking tray and flatten with a rolling pin. Prick the base of the crust with a fork and bake for about 15 minutes till done. Slowly heat the butter and condensed milk till the butter has melted. Stir continuously to blend well. Sift the icing sugar and cocoa together and add. Remove from the heat and stir in the coconut. Spread the mixture over the crust and chill till the topping is firm. Cut into squares. Makes 35-40 squares.
