Ingredients (6)

125.00 g butter
200.00 g chocolate — broken into pieces
30.00 ml sherry
100.00 g glacé cherries — red, halved
50.00 g almonds — ground
250.00 g digestive biscuits — crushed

Method:

Melt the butter, chocolate and sherry over low heat.
Add the remaining ingredients and stir well.
Spoon the mixture onto a baking sheet and spread evenly with the back of a spoon.
Chill until set and cut into squares.
Makes 30 squares.
