Chocolate and apple cheesecake

    instant dried yeast

    white bread flour

    warm milk

    large egg

    pie apples, well drained

    large egg, separated
  • 200

    cream cheese

    ml
    ground almonds

    chocolate sauce topping
 

Method

1 hour
 
1. CRUST: Mix dry ingredients together. Beat milk, butter and egg together and stir into dry ingredients to form a stiff dough. Knead for five minutes, cover and set aside in a warm place until doubled in volume. 2. Knead down and roll out. Use to line a greased 22 cm springform tin. 3. FILLING: Spread apples over base of pastry. Beat egg yolks, cream cheese and sugar together until smooth. Stir in almonds. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into cream cheese mixture. Spoon onto apples. Drizzle chocolate topping sauce over filling and bake in preheated 180 ºC oven.
