Ingredients (10)

1.00 tennis biscuits — coarsly crushed
100.00 g desiccated coconut
90.00 g dates — pitted, chopped
50.00 g pecan nuts — chopped
1.00 condensed milk — tin
150.00 g butter
45.00 ml cocoa powder
5.00 ml vanilla — essence
1.00 cake mix — vanilla
100.00 g white chocolate — melted

Method:

1. Place the biscuits, coconut, dates and pecan nuts in a large bowl.

2. Heat the condensed milk, butter and cocoa powder in a saucepan. When it’s bubbling, remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla essence and cream of tartar.

3. Pour the liquid mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until well combined. Spoon into a greased baking tray and refrigerate until firm and set.

4. Cut into small squares and place on a cooling rack. Drizzle with the melted chocolate. Leave to set before storing.
