    self-raising flour
  • 25

    cocoa powder
  • 200
    g
    granulated sugar
  • 2
    eggs
  • pinch of salt
  • 150
    g
    unsalted butter or margarine
  • 5
    ml
    vanilla essence
  • 70
    g
    chocolate chips
 

Method

 
1. Preheat oven to 180 ºC. Grease two baking sheets and set aside. 2. Place the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, eggs, salt, butter and vanilla essence in a food processor. Process for a few seconds, or until well combined. 3. Add chocolate chips and mix well. Spoon teaspoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets, keeping mixture well spaced as they will spread during cooking. 4. Bake in a preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes until firm. Remove from oven, loosen with a palette knife and cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
