Choc-chip cookies

    cake flour

    salt
  • 3
    ml
    bicarbonate of soda
  • 1
    ml
    ground cinnamon
  • 90
    g
    butter
  • 110
    g
    castor sugar
  • 50
    g
    brown sugar
  • 1
    large egg
  • 150
    g
    dark chocolate or peppermint crisp
 

Method

12 minutes
 
Sift together flour, salt, bicarb and cinnamon.
Beat together butter and sugar until light. Add egg and beat well. Stir in flour mixture and chocolate pieces and mix until well combined.
Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a greased baking tray, leaving space in between each one for spreading.
Bake at 190 °C in preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, allow to cool on baking tray for five minutes, then remove and cool completely on a wire rack.
