Ingredients

  • 4
    onions, sliced into rings
  • 1
    clove garlic, crushed
  • 10
    chillies, seeded
  • 60
    ml
    oil
  • 5
    ml
    curry powder
  • 2
    ml
    chilli powder
  • 125
    ml
    tomato sauce
  • 15
    ml
    vinegar
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and black pepper to taste
 

Method

20-30 min
 
Sauté the onion, garlic and chilli in the oil until soft. Add the curry and chilli powder and stir-fry for about one minute. Add the remaining ingredients and a little water if necessary. Simmer until a thickish sauce is formed. Store in sterilised bottles in the fridge. Makes about 750 ml.
